When i was first introduced to the AS media project, i had to gather some background information. For this i researched various different music genres such as pop, rock and classical. The reason behind this was so that i could get an idea of the styles and themes that are associated with the different music genres which would help me when developing my music magazine.

Once i gathered my information i placed it into a word document. I created two minemaps, one of which displayed images of music magazines relating to different genras and one with basic information on typical fonts and colours associated with them.
